The Papillon is one of the earliest of the toy spaniels originating in Western Europe during the early 1500s. Known for its beautiful butterfly-like ears, the Papillon was a popular with noblewomen such as Madame Pompadour and Marie Antoinette.

Single coated, with long silky, straight hair. Feathered in the back of the forelegs with frill at the chest.
